Deaf Ed 101 For Parents Mini Conference
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Tampa Bay area Parents with Deaf members children are invited to Deaf Ed 101 for parents mini conference.
Deaf Ed 101 for parents to be held Saturday April 22, 2017 9:00 am – 2:30 pm at the St. Petersburg College ES building (Clearwater campus).
All parents, grandparents, and professionals are invited to attend these workshops/seminars.
Only $10.00 per family : Lunch and childcare will be provided for children ages 5-12 (advance registration required)
Registration will be from 9:00-9:30 am with workshops, a concurrent resource fair, key note lunch, and refreshments.
The resource fair will provide information on area agencies and organizations who may be of help to families.
Participants will have the opportunity to attend three informative sessions.

Every year Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage month from September 15 to October 15 by celebrating cultures, histories and contributions of Americans whose ancestors came from Spain, and South/Central America. During Hispanic Heritage Month DLC celebrates contributions of Deaf Hispanics in the USA. The traditions experiences and contributions of these individuals make the Deaf community and the USA a diverse and exciting place to live.

June 9th, Irwin Photographics will be offering Family photos at $25 session fee. This will be a mini session event. What is a mini-session? These are very short photo sessions that last about 15 – 20 minutes with no change in location. The idea is to get as many shoots done in a few hours.
You must pick and pay for a print from the booking page in order to get your digital file to share on social media. You will have access to your online gallery and pick your image. Once the image is selected you will receive both a low res digital copy to share on social media and your print.

Just bring yourself and a smile! You will paint along Deaf artists Lora, Sandra and Leigh who will guide you step by step how to paint the featured painting of the night.
At the end of the class you will leave with your own painting.
Limited to 40 participants!
